Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Project Specialist II - Network Planning will manage network and hardware delivery for external events, ensuring design integrity and data governance while collaborating with internal teams and external agencies.
Key responsibilities
- Drives client projects and events from inception to retrospective, managing multiple projects independently
- Acts as the authoritative lead for telecom/IP network planning and oversees the accuracy and governance of network design data
- Partners with engineers and product teams to influence design practices and mentor junior staff in network modeling and documentation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.S/B.A) and 2 to 5 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 10+ years in telecom/network engineering, OSS platforms, or network operations
- Strong knowledge of IP/MPLS, Ethernet, optical transport, and telecom infrastructure
- Experience with OSS/network inventory tools (e.g., Ericsson ENM, Nokia NSP)
- Proven ability to set standards and drive process improvements in regulated environments
