Network Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Network Reliability Engineer to support and optimize a mature network environment for a large Government Agency.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Incident Response support by monitoring ticket systems and addressing network-related incidents
• Manage and support the SolarWinds instance and interactive webpage dashboards
• Participate in troubleshooting sessions and utilize network diagnostic tools to identify and resolve network issues

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience
• 5+ years of experience in monitoring and managing network equipment
• Strong knowledge of SolarWinds and networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS)
• Solid understanding of SNMP and network cybersecurity fundamentals
• Basic understanding of Red Hat Enterprise Linux and scripting languages
