Network Security Analyst

Job Summary

To support a dynamic Cybersecurity Operations Center, the full-time Network Security Analyst will monitor and analyze cybersecurity alerts, investigate security incidents, and collaborate with incident response teams in Austin, Texas.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, triage, and analyze cybersecurity alerts using various security platforms
• Investigate and prioritize security incidents, escalating confirmed threats as necessary
• Continuously improve threat detection through alert tuning and process refinement

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, including incident response
• Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Arcsight, and QRadar
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and threat detection methodologies
• Solid understanding of malware, phishing, and network security controls
• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information security, computer science, or a related field (preferred)
