Network Security Architect

Job Summary

Supporting a critical migration initiative, the remote Network Security Architect will define and implement network security requirements for AWS cloud adoption while collaborating with application and infrastructure teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze network security requirements, translating them into actionable policies and firewall rules
• Design and validate network security architecture in AWS, including the use of Security Groups and integration with Palo Alto firewall policies
• Document best practices and standards for cloud network security design and support troubleshooting of existing configurations

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred
• 5+ years of experience in network security architecture, particularly in AWS cloud environments
• AWS Public Cloud experience is required
• Strong understanding of network security controls, including firewalls (Palo Alto experience) and layered defense models
• Familiarity with AWS networking components such as VPC, Subnets, and Route Tables
