Network Security Architect

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time temporary basis, the Network Security Architect will design and implement network security controls, translate application requirements into actionable policies, and collaborate with teams to ensure robust cloud security architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to analyze network security requirements
• Design and validate network security architecture in AWS, utilizing Security Groups and Network ACLs
• Document best practices for cloud network security design and support troubleshooting of existing configurations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience (5+ years) in network security architecture
• Strong experience with Palo Alto firewalls and AWS-native controls (Security Groups, Network ACLs)
• Expertise in AWS Public Cloud components such as VPC, Subnets, and Transit Gateways
• Proven ability to translate application connectivity needs into firewall rule sets
• Solid infrastructure and architecture background with familiarity in technology risk domains
