Network Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Network Security Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based security platforms, including WAF and DDoS mitigation
• Build and manage custom rules to enforce security policies and optimize traffic
• Collaborate with teams to ensure secure traffic flow and support incident response efforts

Required Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of experience managing cloud WAF/DDoS platforms in enterprise environments
• Deep familiarity with Cloudflare and/or Akamai edge protection services
• Experience building custom page rules and traffic filtering logic
• Strong knowledge of core networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with on-premises application delivery controllers like F5 BIG-IP
