Job Summary

A company is looking for a Network Security Engineer to support a growing organization within the technology industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and optimize network security controls aligned with NIST 800 53 and SOC 2 requirements
• Conduct internal security audits, risk assessments, and evidence collection to support compliance initiatives
• Harden network infrastructure through secure configuration practices and continuous monitoring

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on network security engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of NIST 800 53 and SOC 2 trust service criteria and audit expectations
• Proficiency with enterprise security tools (firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management)
• Demonstrated experience configuring and hardening network devices (routers, switches, firewalls)
• Familiarity with incident analysis, threat detection, and SOC workflows
