Network Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Network Security Engineer to support and secure complex enterprise network environments within a highly regulated industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network security controls aligned with industry best practices and compliance standards
• Lead and support SOC 2 control implementation, evidence collection, and ongoing compliance efforts
• Develop and maintain automation solutions to improve network reliability, security, and operational efficiency

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Network Security Engineer or in a similar senior-level role
• Proven hands-on experience implementing and maintaining SOC 2 security requirements and controls
• Strong expertise with network security technologies including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust concepts
• Advanced knowledge of routing protocols including BGP and OSPF
• Experience with network automation and Python scripting in production environments
