Network Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Network Security Engineer to join their team in Marysville, OH.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage firewall operations, including rule building, tuning, and incident response across a hybrid enterprise environment
• Monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools
• Configure and support VPNs, IDS/IPS, and threat prevention systems

Required Qualifications

• 3-7 years of hands-on experience in network security, preferably in a NOC/SOC or enterprise network team
• Proficiency with Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco ASA, and Firepower
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and network troubleshooting techniques
• Experience with SIEM platforms and basic automation skills using Python or Ansible
• Ability to work independently and respond effectively to security incidents
