Network Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an IT Firewall Administrator.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, modify, and support firewall, proxy, and IDS/IPS rules in production environments
• Analyze and troubleshoot existing firewall and security rules to resolve operational and project-related issues
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to troubleshoot network security challenges

Required Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of recent experience implementing and supporting firewall rules in large, complex enterprise environments
• Strong understanding of networking and firewalling principles, including segmentation and zoning
• Hands-on experience with enterprise firewall platforms such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, and/or Cisco
• Working knowledge of F5 LTM and proxy technologies
