Network Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support enterprise security infrastructure, the remote contract Network Security Engineer will design, implement, monitor, and manage security solutions across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, utilizing expertise in next-generation firewalls, SIEM platforms, and Zero Trust architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise network security solutions
• Monitor security events using SIEM, XDR, and SOC monitoring platforms
• Investigate security incidents, perform threat analysis, and support incident response activities

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Fortinet, SonicWall, and Palo Alto firewalls
• Proficiency in implementing Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and identity-based security controls
• Experience with cloud security initiatives across AWS and Azure
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field preferred
• Preferred certifications such as Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSA, or CISSP
