Network Security Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance organizational network security, the mid-level Network Security Engineer will design and administer security systems, protect against cyber threats, and implement new security protocols while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Maintaining LAN, WLAN, and server architecture in accordance with business policies
• Analyzing and implementing new security protocols to improve efficiency against threats
• Monitoring web security gateways and managing identity and access management (IAM) policies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software development, engineering, or a related technical field
• 4-8 years of experience in network security, particularly with Azure cloud and networking components
• Experience with Palo Alto Networks and maintaining virtual networks (Vnets)
• Knowledge of routing protocols such as MPLS, HAIPE/IP, QOS, and WAN
• Preferred certification as a Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
