Network Security Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance the IT infrastructure, the full-time Network Security Engineer will design, implement, manage, and maintain network security systems in a hybrid remote environment, ensuring optimal performance and uptime while collaborating with security and IT teams.

Key responsibilities

• Install and maintain network security systems, focusing on uptime and performance
• Research and evaluate new technologies, making recommendations to management
• Monitor systems and analyze trends, deploying network solutions in customer hospital data centers

Required qualifications

• Experience managing network security solutions such as firewalls and VPNs
• Knowledge of network design, implementation, and management
• Familiarity with Cisco IOS and NX-OS in switching and routing environments
• Understanding of redundant network solutions and physical cabling management
• Ability to troubleshoot end user VPN issues and manage SD-WAN solutions
