Network Security Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a remote Network Security Engineer on a contract basis, this position will design, implement, and support enterprise network security solutions while collaborating with IT teams to ensure secure and reliable systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support network security solutions across enterprise environments
• Configure, deploy, and administer Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewalls, managing firewall policies and security controls
• Conduct risk assessments and security reviews to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation plans

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in network engineering, network security, cybersecurity, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience supporting network and cloud security environments (AWS and/or Azure)
• Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and administering Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewalls
• Strong understanding of network security concepts, technologies, and best practices
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
