Network Security Engineer

Job Summary

Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the security infrastructure of the network, the full-time remote Network Security Engineer will safeguard against cyber threats and unauthorized access while managing firewall devices and conducting vulnerability assessments.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain network security solutions to protect against threats and vulnerabilities
• Configure and manage firewall devices, including rule creation and VPN tunnel configuration
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments to identify and remediate security weaknesses

Required qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience
• Hands-on experience with firewall management and intrusion detection/prevention systems
• Extensive knowledge of Cisco and Palo Alto networks
• Working knowledge of AWS networking standards
• Experience in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
