Network Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support enterprise security infrastructure, the contract Network Security Engineer will design, implement, monitor, and manage security solutions across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise network security solutions
• Monitor security events using SIEM, XDR, and SOC monitoring platforms
• Investigate security incidents, perform threat analysis, and support incident response activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field preferred
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet, SonicWall, and Palo Alto firewalls
• Expertise in Zero Trust architecture and cloud security initiatives across AWS and Azure
• Familiarity with SIEM solutions such as Splunk or QRadar
• Preferred certifications include Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSA, or CCNP Security
