Network Security Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Network Security Engineer will manage and support the network security infrastructure, including firewalls and access control platforms, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enforce security policies and troubleshoot configurations.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage firewall infrastructure, VPN, and security-related tools daily
• Collaborate with the information security and network teams to establish security policies and configurations
• Analyze and troubleshoot firewall rule sets to ensure application performance and availability

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 3+ years of networking experience and 2 years of hands-on firewall engineering
• Experience managing Palo Alto Firewall infrastructure in an enterprise environment
• Familiarity with micro-segmentation in a virtualized Data Center environment
• PCNSA, PCNSE, or CISSP certifications preferred
• Basic understanding of network engineering and local/wide area technologies
