Job Summary
To support the design and implementation of enterprise microsegmentation capabilities, the contract Network Security Microsegmentation Engineer will work remotely, focusing on using Illumio to enforce least-privilege access and reduce lateral movement risk across application workloads.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain microsegmentation policies using Illumio
- Analyze application communication flows and define dependencies
- Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot connectivity issues
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in network security or cybersecurity engineering
- Hands-on experience with Illumio
- Strong understanding of Zero Trust principles
- Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls)
- Experience analyzing network traffic and security logs for troubleshooting
