Network Solutions Design Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the technical pre-construction process for complex MDU, campus, and high-rise projects, the full-time Network Solutions Design Engineer will manage end-to-end estimating, collaborate with vendors and clients, and continuously improve estimating workflows while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage estimating for MDU, campus, and high-rise projects, from site assessment to bid packages
• Build and maintain vendor relationships to secure competitive pricing and deliver accurate proposals
• Continuously improve estimating workflows by recommending better software and processes

Required qualifications

• 5-10+ years of experience in network engineering and low-voltage design with a proven track record in estimating
• Proficient in network/OSP/low-voltage design and estimating software such as AutoCAD and OSPInsight
• Strong understanding of AI tools for productivity enhancement
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted
• RCDD or BICSI OSP Designer certification is a plus, but deep field experience is valued
