Network Specialist I - Idaho

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Network Specialist I - Outside Plant Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Design OSP projects and supervise consultants for outside plant field construction
• Provide technical support for special projects and ensure accurate accounting of facilities
• Conduct audits of OSP projects to ensure compliance with standards and manage project documentation

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree (or higher) -OR- 2+ years professional work experience
• 3+ years' experience in Voice, Data, or Video networking
• Experience with GIS, ESRI, ArcGIS, and/or spatial analysis
• Advanced knowledge of NESC construction practices and engineering standards
• Ability to read and assess fiber and/or HFC designs and prints
