Network Specialist - Outside Plant Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Network Specialist - Outside Plant Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Design OSP projects and supervise consultants for field construction and splicing operations
• Provide technical support for special projects, ensuring proper accounting and legal compliance
• Conduct audits of OSP projects to ensure compliance with standards and manage project documentation

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree (or higher) -OR- 2+ years professional work experience
• 2+ years' experience in Voice, Data or Video networking
• GIS, ESRI, ArcGIS and/or spatial analysis experience
• Advanced working knowledge of NESC construction practices and engineering standards
• Ability to read and assess fiber and/or HFC designs and prints
