Network Systems Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Network Systems Engineer, the successful candidate will install, configure, and maintain enterprise network and security infrastructure, working closely with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to enhance network performance and resolve incidents.
Key responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, and enterprise network-security infrastructure
- Administer and support Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Cisco Identity Services Engine for network access control
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues related to connectivity and security
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Four years of relevant network or systems administration experience, including two years with enterprise firewalls
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Cisco Identity Services Engine
- Experience with enterprise wireless networks and F5 Networks load-balancing technologies
- Familiarity with Splunk or similar SIEM platforms for security monitoring
