Network Systems Engineer II

Job Summary

Providing complex technical support for the Bank's data and voice network infrastructure, the remote Network Systems Engineer II will install, maintain, and support network components while delivering Tier 2 support and driving operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 technical support for data or voice network systems, including monitoring and auditing performance
• Configure and install network hardware and software infrastructure, ensuring compliance with SLAs and security standards
• Collaborate with vendors and colleagues to implement services, manage network asset inventory, and assist with disaster recovery testing

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in systems engineering or programming, or a High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of relevant experience
• In-depth knowledge of networking technologies and protocols
• Technical skills in network routing, switching, and provisioning, particularly with Cisco technologies
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional groups
• Certifications such as CCNA or CCNP Routing and Switching are preferred
