Job Summary
Overseeing the transition of network systems for the Antarctic Science and Engineering Support Contract (ASESC), the full-time remote Network Systems Packet Lead will manage network operations, user support, and documentation to ensure seamless communication and IT operations in a challenging environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development and management of Network Systems transition packets to support transition objectives
- Coordinate the collection, validation, and transfer of network-related documentation, configurations, and operational records
- Collaborate with technical teams to document current-state network architecture and track transition deliverables and milestones
Required qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in network operations, telecommunications, or related technical functions
- Experience in organizing and managing technical documentation and records
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and SharePoint
