Network Technician

Job Summary

To support a critical network infrastructure initiative, the remote Network Technician will focus on discovering, documenting, and tracking network-connected assets across the enterprise as part of a 3-month contract.

Key responsibilities

• Perform network discovery activities to identify all network-connected assets across the enterprise
• Validate and reconcile discovered assets with existing IT Asset Management (ITAM) records
• Document and maintain accurate asset inventory information within the ITAM database

Required qualifications

• Understanding of enterprise network infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and networking equipment
• Experience working with asset management databases and inventory tracking
• Strong Excel and data management skills
• Ability to analyze large data sets and identify inconsistencies
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
