Network Test Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Network Test Automation Engineer will develop and maintain automated test suites for the Routing SD-WAN area, manage weekly regression runs, and collaborate with development teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining automated test suites for the Routing SD-WAN area on the CI/CD test orchestration platform
• Owning weekly regression runs, monitoring results, and triaging failures to drive resolution
• Collaborating with development teams to design test coverage based on delivered features and leveraging AI tools for efficiency

Required qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Python-based test automation using pytest or similar frameworks
• Solid networking knowledge with a focus on routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF
• Understanding of SD-WAN concepts, including overlay architecture and IPsec tunnels
• Proven debugging and troubleshooting skills, including reading logs and isolating root causes
• Experience with Docker and good Linux command-line skills
