Job Summary
As a Global Resolution Engineer - Networking Subject Matter Expert working remotely, the candidate will serve as a top-tier technical escalation resource specializing in networking for high-performance computing and enterprise environments, resolving complex customer issues and influencing product design.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex customer networking issues in WEKA deployments
- Troubleshoot Layer 1-4 networking problems in high-throughput, low-latency environments
- Collaborate with Customer Success Engineers to mentor and enhance team networking competence
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent experience accepted
- 15+ years in advanced technical support, network engineering, or network architecture roles
- Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid deployments preferred
- Subject matter expertise in modern data center networking technologies
- Advanced Linux systems administration with an emphasis on network stack debugging and tuning
