Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Neuro Coding Associate III, this remote position requires experienced coders actively working in neurosurgery and Neuro Interventional Radiology to accurately code complex cases, manage a high-volume workflow, and collaborate with providers to ensure optimal reimbursement and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Code complex neurosurgical and Neuro IR cases daily, including high-value surgeries
• Manage a high-volume workflow with an expectation of approximately sixty cases per day
• Collaborate with providers to resolve documentation gaps while maintaining professionalism

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of coding experience in a Neuro coding environment
• Required certification (one or more): CCS, COC, RHIA, RHIT, or CPC
• Experience working in production-based coding environments with defined productivity targets
