Neuro Interventional Radiology Coding Specialist

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Neuro Interventional Radiology Coding Specialist, the full-time remote position will independently perform complex professional coding across multiple specialties, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance for reimbursement.

Key responsibilities

• Code complex professional encounters and procedures, ensuring correct sequencing, modifiers, and E/M level selection
• Resolve coding-related edits and denials by identifying root causes and coordinating documentation clarification
• Provide real-time guidance to peers on standard coding scenarios and participate in internal quality review programs

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• At least 3 years of experience in physician/provider coding
• CPC or CCS-P certification required
• Experience with Epic, Encoder Pro, and Solventum/3M preferred
• Familiarity with coding for CT, MRI, and Ultrasounds is a plus
