Job Summary
To support a growing medical coding team, the full-time Profee Neurosurgery Coding Specialist will review medical records, ensure high-quality coding standards, and collaborate with colleagues in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Review medical records and accurately code charts to meet client needs
- Maintain high quality and productivity standards in coding services
- Communicate with coders and managers to address client requirements and dynamics
Required qualifications
- At least 3 years of profee coding experience, particularly in CV Hospital & Clinic E/Ms coding within a teaching facility
- Current AHIMA or AAPC coding credentials
- Access to high-speed internet and a suitable workstation
- Demonstrated coding quality of at least 95%
