Job Summary

To support the financial operations of a healthcare organization, the full-time remote Cash Poster II will manage payment postings, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate account handling while collaborating with various teams.

Key responsibilities

• Post payments to patient accounts and balance payments to deposits using electronic and manual systems
• Research and validate payment postings, making necessary adjustments and following up on missing information
• Assist teammates with complex issues and escalate trends to leadership while meeting productivity and quality goals

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one (1) year of full cycle medical billing experience
• At least six (6) months in a healthcare Cash Posting role
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and modifiers
• Experience with insurance claim appeals and electronic remittances
