Nevada Contact Center Specialist
Job Summary
To deliver exceptional patient care, the full-time remote Nevada Contact Center Referral Specialist I will establish collaborative relationships with patients and caregivers, manage referral processing, and ensure compliance with insurance requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Effectively identify and resolve patient, provider, and staff requests related to referrals and scheduling
- Act as a liaison between hospitals, physicians, and patients to facilitate insurance authorization for procedures
- Document complete referral information and follow up with patients through various communication methods
Required qualifications
- Demonstrated experience using multiple business software applications and insurance web portals
- Prior experience in healthcare settings
- Strong experience working with medical referrals
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR), preferably EPIC
- Associate degree or higher is preferred
