Nevada Licensed Accountant

Job Summary

To support financial operations, the full-time salaried Nevada Licensed Accountant will perform varied accounting functions, including preparing monthly financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and ad hoc projects, all while adhering to GAAP and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Record transactional activity accurately in the general ledger and evaluate internal controls for effectiveness
• Provide timely reporting on financial data and ensure compliance with federal, state, and international regulations
• Participate in project implementations and lead shared service strategies to enhance service quality across the organization

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
• 1+ years of relevant experience in Accounting or Audit
• Experience with financial reporting and general ledger account reconciliations
• Familiarity with MGM Resorts International gaming and financial systems is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel
