Nevada Licensed Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Leading key general accounting processes, the full-time salaried Nevada Licensed Accounting Manager will oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SOX requirements, and supervise the General Accounting team, with opportunities for remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Lead assigned areas of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and lease accounting transactions in accordance with ASC 606 and ASC 842
• Supervise and develop accounting staff through coaching, training, and performance feedback

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Active CPA license
• Six or more years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience with ASC 606 and ASC 842
• Experience with SOX compliance and internal control frameworks
