Job Summary
To support a mission-driven team, the full-time remote Nevada Licensed Disability Advocate will serve as a primary contact for health plan members, guiding them through the Social Security disability process while managing relationships with medical providers and government agencies.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for health plan members, providing regular communication and clarifying complex information
- Manage relationships with medical providers and government agencies to ensure timely processing of applications
- Gather and submit necessary documentation for disability applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, with a preference for social services or case management backgrounds
- Fluency in English and Spanish, with strong communication skills in both languages
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and ability to navigate multiple software systems
- Detail-oriented with a goal-driven mindset and willingness to learn
- Ability to manage time effectively and multitask in a fast-paced environment
