Job Summary

Seeking a Nevada Licensed General Counsel, the part-time contract attorney will manage real estate finance and private lending transactions for a residential and commercial mortgage company, focusing on compliance with Nevada Revised Statutes 645B.

Key responsibilities

• Structuring, drafting, negotiating, and reviewing sophisticated real estate financing transactions
• Overseeing foreclosure proceedings, loan servicing, and compliance with loan origination documentation
• Providing legal guidance on Nevada mortgage transactions and related regulatory matters

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Nevada mortgage transactions in a law firm or in-house setting
• Excellent academic credentials from a U.S. accredited law school
• Licensed and in good standing in any state, with expertise in Nevada transactions governed under Nevada Revised Statutes 645B
• Outstanding references
