Job Summary
To support the healthcare needs of veterans and military beneficiaries, a Nevada Licensed Medical Director will provide clinical guidance in a remote, full-time position focused on quality improvement, peer collaboration, and program management across multiple medical domains.
Key responsibilities
- Provide program-wide clinical guidance in Utilization Management, Case Management, Quality, and Public Health
- Lead quality committees and collaborative safety initiatives while reviewing member cases for quality of care
- Develop and implement corrective action plans related to clinical quality or provider performance
Required qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited medical school
- Active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States
- Board certification or board eligibility through a recognized specialty board
- Minimum of 5 years of medical practice experience and 3+ years in managed care environments
- U.S. Citizenship and favorable background investigation through the Department of Defense (DoD)
