Job Summary

To support the healthcare needs of veterans and military beneficiaries, the part-time remote Nevada Licensed Medical Director will provide clinical guidance across multiple medical management domains, lead quality initiatives, and collaborate with various teams to enhance care delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Provide program-wide clinical guidance in Utilization Management, Case Management, Quality, and Public Health
• Lead quality committees and participate in collaborative safety initiatives
• Review member cases for appropriateness and quality of care, documenting findings in health systems

Required qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited medical school
• Active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States
• Board certification or board eligibility through a recognized specialty board
• Minimum of 5 years of medical practice experience
• 3+ years of experience in managed care environments
