Nevada Licensed Medical Director
Job Summary
To support high-quality care initiatives for veterans and military beneficiaries, the remote Nevada Licensed Medical Director will provide clinical guidance across multiple medical management domains while collaborating with various teams and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Provide program-wide clinical guidance in Utilization Management, Case Management, Quality, and Public Health
- Lead quality committees and review member cases for appropriateness and quality of care
- Collaborate with TriWest teams and develop corrective action plans related to clinical quality or provider performance
Required qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited medical school
- Active, unrestricted medical license in the United States
- Board certification or board eligibility through a recognized specialty board
- Minimum of 5 years of medical practice experience, with 3+ years in managed care environments
- U.S. Citizenship and favorable background investigation through the Department of Defense (DoD)
