Job Summary

A company is looking for a Nurse Educator/Review Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate provider education related to claim reviews and Medicare policy
• Collaborate with staff and management to identify and resolve billing issues
• Conduct desktop medical reviews and maintain records related to job activities

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing or relevant health information management credentials
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or accredited as a Health Information Management professional (RHIA, RHIT, CCS)
• Experience with Medicare QIO, claim reviews, or medical reviews preferred
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS coding rules and medical necessity
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment
