Nevada Licensed Principal Substation Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Substation Engineer to lead engineering efforts for substation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual designs and execution plans for substation projects
• Perform quality reviews and prepare construction drawings, documents, and calculations
• Coordinate with multi-discipline project teams and provide project updates to senior leadership

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in the Substation/Power Delivery field
• Experience with high voltage substation design (12kV through 500kV)
• Ability to interpret and apply engineering standards such as IEEE and IEC
• B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• PE license is required
