Nevada Licensed Registered Dietitian

Job Summary

To support maternal and child health outcomes, the contract Nevada Licensed Registered Dietitian will provide nutritional health care for pregnant and postpartum patients through individual and group therapy visits while developing telemedicine protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the Nutritional Health Care Provider for pregnancy and postpartum patients
• Conduct 1:1 and group therapy visits focused on nutritional health
• Create protocols and safety measures for a telemedicine-based nutritional support system

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential
• Active Nevada license to practice as a Registered Dietitian
• Fluency in English; additional fluency in Spanish is highly preferred
• 2+ years of experience in pregnancy-related nutrition, including management of Gestational Diabetes and Type I and II Diabetes
• Experience providing virtual patient care and availability for phone and video meetings
