Nevada Licensed Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

To support the engineering effort for substation projects, the full-time remote Nevada Licensed Senior Electrical Engineer will lead project teams in preparing designs, cost estimates, and construction documents while ensuring technical delivery and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual designs and execution plans for substation projects
• Perform engineering/project cost estimates and schedules, ensuring timely delivery
• Document quality reviews and prepare calculations, studies, and reports for power systems projects

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in substation physical engineering
• Proficiency in high voltage substation design (12kV through 500kV)
• Ability to interpret and apply standards including IEEE, IEC, and NESC
• B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Active PE license is required
