Nevada Licensed SOC Analyst

Job Summary

As a full-time Nevada Licensed SOC Analyst working remotely, the candidate will lead daily security operations, manage incident responses, and mentor junior analysts while ensuring effective communication and process adherence across shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily DART shift activities and act as an escalation point for high-priority security alerts
• Monitor and investigate security alerts using SIEM, EDR, and NDR platforms, collaborating with teams during incident responses
• Mentor junior analysts and support onboarding and continuous training initiatives

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a cybersecurity analyst role, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior-level capacity
• Proven hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, and NDR toolsets
• In-depth understanding of attacker TTPs (MITRE ATT&CK) and strong investigative skills
• Experience responding to incidents in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Ability to work 9:00 AM-5:00 PM EST/CST/PST and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
