Nevada Licensed Staff Dentist

Job Summary

To support a growing clinical team, the part-time Nevada Licensed Staff Dentist will perform remote reviews of dental claims, prior authorizations, and treatment requests, ensuring evidence-based care and regulatory compliance while working 20 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Review dental claims, referrals, and prior authorization requests across multiple lines of business
• Participate in calibration sessions and quality improvement initiatives to ensure consistent clinical decision-making
• Conduct peer-to-peer consultations with providers regarding clinical determinations and treatment alternatives

Required qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
• Current, active, and unrestricted Nevada dental license in good standing
• Minimum of six (6) years of experience as a practicing dentist
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures, clinical guidelines, and medical necessity criteria
• Ability to review and interpret dental radiographs and treatment plans
