Job Summary

To support a critical suicide prevention initiative, the remote Nevada Licensed Therapist will provide biopsychosocial assessments, deliver evidence-based individual and family therapy, and collaborate with care teams to coordinate treatment for youth at high risk of suicide.

Key responsibilities
  • Deliver Family-Centered Psychotherapy using evidence-based approaches for youth aged 12-26 at high risk of suicide
  • Conduct Suicide Risk Assessments and develop Safety Plans tailored to individual and family needs
  • Lead clinical care team collaboration to ensure effective safety strategies and care coordination
Required qualifications
  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related behavioral health discipline from an accredited institution
  • Current Nevada Department of Health independent behavioral health license (LCSW, CPC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist)
  • Two or more years of direct experience in behavioral health, preferably with a focus on suicide prevention
  • Crisis intervention training and experience are required
  • Knowledge of local resources and social determinants of health related to mental health and substance use disorders
