Nevada Licensed Therapist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, a Nevada Licensed Therapist for the Interpersonal Violence Reduction Program will provide biopsychosocial assessments, deliver evidence-based individual and group therapy, and coordinate care with an integrated team to support clients dealing with interpersonal violence and co-occurring conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high-quality teletherapy utilizing modalities such as CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care
• Administer clinical assessments and dynamically adjust treatment plans based on member needs and readiness
• Conduct real-time risk assessments and crisis stabilization for high-acuity member events

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related behavioral health discipline from an accredited institution
• Current Nevada Department of Health independent behavioral health license (LCSW, CPC, or LMFT)
• Two or more years of direct experience in the behavioral health field, particularly with adults
• Knowledge of local resources and issues related to mental health, substance use disorders, and interpersonal violence
• Familiarity with Medicare or Medicaid practices preferred
