Job Summary
To support a critical suicide prevention initiative, the full-time Nevada Licensed Therapist will provide biopsychosocial assessments, individual and group therapy, and collaborate with care teams remotely to coordinate treatment for youth at high risk of suicide.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based individual and family therapy for youth aged 12-26 using various therapeutic frameworks
- Conduct suicide risk assessments and develop safety plans tailored to both the youth and their families
- Collaborate with clinical care teams to ensure effective treatment strategies and manage high-acuity escalations
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related behavioral health discipline from an accredited institution
- Current Nevada Department of Health independent behavioral health license (LCSW, CPC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist)
- Two or more years of direct experience in behavioral health, particularly with adolescents and adults
- Crisis intervention training and experience
- Knowledge of local resources and social determinants of health related to mental health and substance use disorders
