Job Summary
To support a critical suicide prevention initiative, the full-time Nevada Licensed Therapist will provide biopsychosocial assessments, individual and group therapy, and coordinate care remotely for youth at high risk of suicide.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based individual and family teletherapy for youth aged 12-26, utilizing frameworks such as C-CBT and DBT
- Conduct suicide risk assessments and lead real-time safety planning tailored to youth and their families
- Collaborate with care teams to manage clinical safety strategies and ensure compliance with Medicaid billing requirements
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related behavioral health discipline from an accredited institution
- Current independent behavioral health license from the Nevada Department of Health (LCSW, CPC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist)
- Two or more years of direct experience in behavioral health, particularly with adolescents and adults
- Crisis intervention training and experience
- Knowledge of local resources and social determinants affecting mental health and substance use disorders
