Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter - III.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite Government and Conventional loans by reviewing loan files for compliance with quality standards
• Manage individual pipeline by completing underwriting reviews and addressing document deficiencies
• Assist colleagues in interpreting underwriting guidelines and perform independent research on guidelines

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in the Mortgage Industry or related field
• High school diploma required
• Advanced knowledge of residential mortgage industry and applicable regulatory compliance
• Advanced knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, and USDA Guidelines
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office products and Encompass
